From research, to better care.

We are the site-side partner for community psychiatric practices entering interventional psychiatry. We train your team, build your operational backbone, and stay with you from your first trial through the medicines that come after.

The easy way.

Standing up a research practice alone is hard. Six to twelve months and tens of thousands of dollars. Regulatory work is unforgiving, contracts are unfamiliar, and the first sponsor relationship is the hardest one to find. Most new practices do not finish their first trial.

The alternative most practices encounter is an SMO. SMOs solve the trial in front of you. They do not invest in your long-term capability.

BSS makes it easy. We are independent, site-side, operationally accountable. The financial risk of getting started does not sit on you. We help you to build a practice that runs trials today and is ready for the medicines that come after.

The pathway.

We deliver everything a small practice needs to run trials at sponsor and regulator standards, in a sequence designed for practices with no prior research footprint. You learn by working with our experienced operators, on real protocols, until the muscle is yours.

  1. Phase 1.

    Foundations.

Training curriculum, SOPs, DEA, electronic systems, regulatory, financial operations. At your pace, hybrid live and asynchronous.

  2. Phase 2.

    First study.

Senior research-manager support through site selection, activation, first patient, and steady state. Typically four to six months.

  3. Phase 3.

    Center of excellence.

Graduation into the consortium. Continued embedded support, sponsor introductions, and readiness for the medicines that come after approval.

The consortium.

A growing network of capable community practices, distributed across the US. Membership compounds: peer learning, KOL panels, sponsor introductions, and reputation that grows with each engagement and each medicine that reaches the market.

“Anastasia and her team are amazing. They taught me all of the basics from GCP to finance so I understood what clinical trials were all about. In addition they are super organized and focused on the job. A very honest group, this is exactly what any good company would want to collaborate with.”
